CREAT-ED have partnered with Iceland Sync Creative, Teenage Engineering, Headline Audio, Lewitt and In Place of War to host an international songwriting camp at Arnastapi Hotel, home to the Snæfellsjökull glacier and volcano.

Those joining the camp will write to live song briefs over three full days on site with global hit writers including Sister Bliss (Faithless) and a roster of independent Icelandic producers signed to Iceland Sync Creative.

Sister Bliss

One of the most successful British dance music artists of the past 25 years, Sister Bliss is the musical force behind Faithless.

This year she celebrates a career spanning more than two decades, 8 albums (3 at number 1), six top 10 singles, over 15 million sales records worldwide and live performances to millions across the world, headlining festivals, stadiums and arenas.

The new Faithless album, Champion Sound, is released Sept 5th.

Liam Howe

Founding member of the pioneering electronic band Sneaker Pimps, whose debut album Becoming X defined an era with hits like “6 Underground” and “Spin Spin Sugar.”

As a producer and co-writer, Howe has worked with some of the most influential voices in contemporary pop and experimental music, including Marina and the Diamonds, Lana Del Rey, FKA twigs, Ellie Goulding, Jessie Ware, and Say Lou Lou.

CREAT-ED reserve the right to amend the curated list subject to producer availability.
All producers on the camp will be of the highest professional standard. 

After each day of songwriting, writers share dinner together, connect and unwind in the stunning surroundings of the Snæfellsjökull National Park.

Iceland Songwriting Camp Fees and Details
Price per person: £1,899

Included: 

  • 4 nights full-board accommodation at Arnastapi Hotel (shared rooms)*

  • 3 days writing to live commercial song and sync briefs

  • 3 days co-writing with professional Icelandic and International Songwriters and Producers

  • Airport transfer to and from Keflavik International Airport

Not included: 

  • Your flight to/from Iceland

  • Alcoholic drinks

  • Additional tourist activities in Arnastapi

  • Your personal travel insurance

* Single room occupancy available on request (£80/night premium)

A proportion of all income will be directed to In Place of War’s #HackMusic programme, supporting grassroots music initiatives on the frontline of conflict, climate change and social injustice.
